What To Do Before commencing training on any LGV or PCV vehicle, you must first apply for the appropriate provisional licence. The minimum age for training is normally 18 years for LGV and 18 years for PCV (subject to restrictions until 21 years).
You will be required to undertake a medical examination before applying for your provisional licence. The medical form is to be sent in with your application. We can assist you with information including medical appointments and completion of application forms to enable you to obtain your provisional licence.

Provisional Licences There is no fee for your provisional licence. When your driving licence is returned it will show the provisional entitlement online. We will be happy to check your licence to ensure the correct provisional entitlements have been applied. You are now able to take the Theory Tests.
We can provide you with information and training required for your Theory Tests � you can be studying for this whilst awaiting the return of your provisional licence. The Theory Test is in two parts. You will be required to answer questions on the category of licence you hope to gain as well as a hazard perception element.
Once you successfully pass your Theory Tests, you are now ready to commence practical training. All training is carried out from our training premises in Flint and will be on a 1-2-1 basis. Your Practical Test Day with a DVSA Examiner will last approximately 1 hour.
For PCV D, if you wish to drive professionally you will be required to take additional Driver CPC Theory and Practical Tests.
For LGV C and C1, if you wish to drive professionally you may be required to take additional Driver CPC Theory and Practical Tests.
